  cinema 4d video textures (NEW PROBLEM)

  i have seen the old post about cinema 4d video textures – i have the same problem (videos dont work) but i have snow lep. 10.6.4 and quicktime x – i reverted to quicktime 7.6.4 , and the video textures still show as just black, and most video formats dont even load up – i get spinning wheel of death. i have cinema 4d 11.514 release and i can load images just fine. videos wont load at all or load as a black object – i reinstalled quicktime x and it still will not load videos correctly no matter what format – PLEASE HELP

  Import your movies as a series of stills, Export from Quicktime 7 as Movie To Image Sequence, import the first into a material and Hit Calculate in Bitmap Shader

  Just curious do you use Perian with Quicktime?

  I am also having the same problem with quicktime movies showing up black. Using a jpeg image sequence works, but I would still like to know what is going on with .mov showing up black. Is it a Quicktime problem or C4d issue? Any insight on this would be great.

  The latest update of C4D solved this for me! At least for mac OS, haven’t tried on windows https://www.maxon.net/en/downloads/updates-co/updates/cinema-4d-r115/r11532-important-notes.html
