  Creating the “Little Big Planet”

  I’m wondering if anyone can post the process, or even better a detailed process on how to create this in Cinema 4D: https://vimeo.com/groups/39853/videos/6891644

  I’m looking to create an over exaggerated looking planet like this with trees and rough terrain.

  In the tutorial he uses some preset textures that takes care of the bump maps and everything.
  I don’t know of anything like this for Cinema.

  Well, “Vue” is a very nice tool for creating extraordinary landscapes…
  (I am using sometimes Vue 8, the “DigitalArts” Special Edition)

  But, I guess, there are many ways to create such a little “mini planet” entirely in C4D…
  One could use the Brush from the Structure Menu to deform the Sphere in many ways,
  or applying a Bump or Displacement Channel to the object, or…

  If you like, here is a very simple test movie I did a little while ago with the Core Version:

  (using one sphere with a displacement-channel and another one for the water level,
  the trees and other objects are placed manually…)
