    Hello

I am working on an animation in which a still (portrait) turns into a DNA-string. Doing that is not a problem, but somehow I can’t manage to set the ball action at the beginning of the effect to zero. In other words, no matter what rotation and twist setting I apply, there is always some effect to be seen in the picture.
    thx!

Yep — that’s the way it works. You need to fade out the opacity of an unaffected copy of the layer to gradually reveal the affected layer.
