Baking Global Illumination & Ambient Occlusion
Hello I have a scene I constructed in cinema 4d with many cloner objects with the “Render Instances” option checked. The scene also contains global illumination & ambient occlusion the lighting will not be moving. I would like to bake all the lighting so I can render out different camera moves faster. I went to Render > Bake Object > and checked ambient occlusion. Then pressed bake but it seems since I am rendering instances Cinema will only bake one of object of each of the cloner objects. If i do current state to objects on the cloners there is over 2000 textures to bake… is this the right way to do this? Is there a way to bake while still preserving render instances? Also what option do i check to bake in the GI?
Thanks in advance sorry for the big paragraph… just trying to be thorough.
