Hey there I’ve learned a bit about using the time-line in C4D, but only to have an object move from one place to another. I want to use the time line to have the object changing shape and rotation, so for instants at the beginning of the time like its 0 ° but after 5 seconds its at 90 °, so its span around over the time-line. I can only seem to permanently change the shape and rotation of objects, anyone know how I could achieve this?

Basically I have a shape with several vines coming from the base, I want the individual vines to rotate separately. For instants if you had an animation of a person swinging their left arm forward and their right arm backwards.

If you look at the time slider you’ll notice sime small icons at the right-hand side. The icons between the question mark and the speaker control what will be keyframed when you click the record button or hotkey. From right to left they are: move, scale, rotation, parameter, and point position. Make sure the ones you need are selected.

In order to record scale, you have to be in “Object Tool” mode, as opposed to the default “Model Tool” mode.
