    Hello,
We have an issue with rending from Muster v5.5.6. Trying to use Maxon C4D v11.5.

On our test system we ran directly on the render node from the command line, a render to our server, worked just fine.
When we put the command into Muster, it hangs. The process that it hangs on is qtguiagent.exe

Here is the command we run:
    “C:\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R11.5\CINEMA 4D 64 Bit.exe” -nogui -render “\\servername\test.c4d” -frame 7 7 1ZZ7

start /b /wait <-- that command is suppose to make it run in the same window, but we could not get that to work, wanted to see if we could get some type of logging out of it. Thanks.

Any progress or update on command line render with version 11.5 ?

The Gui is opening (not expected) and then the command hangs.

I’m trying out the demo version 11.530.

This same command options works with version 11.021

    -nogui -oimage “/Users/kmccarthy/Desktop/C4D/OUTPUT/bg_render_d_d_d” -render “/Users/kmccarthy/Desktop/C4D/kens awesome movie.c4d”

    Thanks,

    Ken

I got a quick reply from MAXON support that -nogui is a limitation of the Demo, but that it should work in the commercial version.
