  My resolution to AEC problem on 11.5

  Hi guys

  As Im sure a lot of you are aware, many people have been having problems opening up aec files in AECS4 from C4D 11.5

  My solution turned out to be too simple to be honest. I did a c4d.plugin search on my mac, and found that i had an older plugin in a folder called TEMP inside my AECS4 plugins folder. I deleted said plugin, then installed the c4d.plugin from the maxon.net site. Now it works.

  Not sure it will be same for everyone, but just double check how many versions of the plugins you actually have floating about on your systems.

  YES!! thank you, that worked for me!

  been going nuts for about 3 days straight.

  I did a search for c4d in my plugins folder and found a spy! it was created mar 19 2008

  thank you, now i can get back to work!
