  Avi as background material

  I’m trying to add an avi file as a material for my background but whenever I add a file to the colour channel it stays blank (white).

  I hit calculate and it alters the number of frames accordingly but no video or image appears??? Am I missing a setting somewhere?

  Tried all combinations of settings for Mode, Timing, Basic and Shader and can’t seem to make progress.

  Hope someone can help

  Put your avi in the luminance channel. That should do it.

  Just put the AVI in the luminance channel. That will do it.
