animating, hiding objects and outputing HQ pal widescreen
Hi all, thanks for your hard work I like reading here and its a great help. If someonecoudl please help it would be great as Im going round in circles.
Im quite new to C4D so bear with me.Im learning animation and doing an animatic for a museum display archive Im donating on a shipwreck.
I have a few questions:
1.) If I have a model I made, an infinite light and two spots with a camera making a scene I move the camera a bit, rotate the model then want to disolve or just plane remove one object to help explain something whats the best way to do it? I have tried selecting it, selecting on the third menu option for the object the show and hide in renderer and in model/editor adding under second click animation a keyframe then hiding in ione and showing in another. It seems to all hide or all show and wont save the keyframes. I am using the record button. Any idea hwo I can do this and the disolve and what Im doing wrong?
2.) how do I output a high quality widescreen PAL video to load in my video editing project? I have only managed a low quality 4:3. I have tried 16:9 but its not the right numper of pixels. Also when I render it the shadows are not smooth and it looks blocky. Which codec do I use?
3.) How do I link objects so when one moves in or out the other moves up and down. How also do I select the plane it moves/slides in if its bottom edge is not parallel with the xyz thing? the second one pivots or tilts so I will need to select the point around which it does this.
Finally 4.) when I select to hide items from my model of grouped objects there are two cheeks to an object one a copy of the other. When I hide one it hides only its self. when I hide the other both hide?
I initially had problems animating an object which woudl not move when I saved keyframes after I did something but not sure what. I have found though if I copy the model and move it to a new project it animates fine.
Thankyou so much for your help and keep up the good work.
Kind Regards
