Can anyone tell me why some of these lines are blue and some of them are white? I don’t merge things from illustrator very often, but I have to here, and when I try to extrude them, points connect to each other sort of randomly. I don’t really have better language to describe the problem, because I don’t really know what it is. Here’s two pictures:

EEEK! I hate it when Illustrator and C4D don’t play nice… The only thing I can think of is making sure your path direction is set properly. I believe there is an option in Cinema to “set first point” or something to that effect. Perhaps it’s just confused as to the direction of the path. Also, if you’re applying a bevel to your extruded curve, be sure to set it to a low value first, before increasing it and thus potentially mucking up your model.

    Hope this helps!
