  Frame Rate Conversion From C4D to After Effects

  What is the best workflow to convert a 30fps Cinema 4D composition to ensure a 29.97fps rate (720 X 480) QuickTime file? Many times I just render out the 30fps .mov file from C4D, then take it into AE and change the frame rate to 29.97, provided I don’t need any additional effects from AE. Is this a workable method or should everything use compositing tags and then render it out in AE at 29.97?
