I can’t figure out how to animate the camera. I need it to zoom, spin around, focus in and focus out as well as typical movements like moving in x, y and z space. I can make objects move with keyframes and I’m a regular at after effects so it’s driving me nuts that I can’t figure this out. I’m sure it’ll be an easy fix and I’ll look stupid for asking but I really need help. Thanks.

Are you using a camera object, vs. the default editor camera? If so it animates like any other object.

There’s your problem. If you make the perspective viewport active and then create a camera object (not a target camera) it will take on the current properties of the viewport camera. Then pick the camera object as your viewport camera and you can animate it to your heart’s content.
