hi, how do i go about offsetting the start time of an animated texture?

is there a way to have it hold on frame zero, and then start playing at a certain frame, and then hold the end frame?

    thanks

Load the texture in your material and then click on the texture name/path. That will open another dialogue, at the top of which you’ll see an animation tab. Click that tab, set “timing” to range, and input the start/end frames you want. The movie will be frozen outside of that range.

i knew it was somewhere, thanks!

i could probably set up a nice expresso null to control a bunch of these if it came to it…

one more question: in a MoGraph cloner sittuation, could i stagger these by putting these into the multishader? would i use index or brightness? how would i have an effector only offset the start times of the animated texture?

    thanks
