Hey guys, I am putting a light in the middle of a sphere and applying visible light with noise to the it. It shows up wonderfully but the noise, if animated with wind, always scrolls from the sides, top or bottom, based on how I have my settings. Is there a way to blow the noise away from the center of the light in all directions which would give the illusion that the sphere is radiating the noise from it’s surface?

    Thanks,
    Brian

you can add a noise to a Volumetric visible light via the transparency channel of a material like this …but it is slow… the Movement in the Layer/Noise is not totally necessary only the Animation Speed I think. There may be better ways.
