    Hai all
    I am sriram,india and started learning 4d. when i converted the cylinder to editable mesh the top surface, bottom surface or heigh surface are separated, they are not welded. But how this happened, this is somewhat unique. how to weld them

    that happens on a number of objects when they are made editable, just use the Point or Polygon Tool and then do a Functions/Optimize.

    wow thank q so much sir
    its worked but i know about optimize and had not used for this sort of problem. but how this is welded because optimize does remove unnecessary elements. This is really interesting sir, can u please explain me how this is welded.

    The tolerance parameter determines which points will be welded. If the distance between two points is less than the tolerance distance, the optimize command welds them.
