I’ve brought in a Spline object and used an Extrude Nurb.

I want to add displacement to the front Face, however there are no polys to do so.

is there a way, without drawing splines, to add polys on the face of the Extrude Nurb?

I’ve tried using Loft nurbs, but it gets a bit messy.

A nurbs object does not have polys until its editable.
Now if by “Face” you mean an end cap you can change that in the CAPS Tab of the extrude nurbs where it says TYPE its defaulted to NGONS change that to quads and enable the grid and adjust to taste.

If you need poly control else where try playing with the intermediate points of your spline. Its an option when you select the spline.
