I created a text object, randomized the word positions using effectors and now i would like to connect the words using a tracer object. all works fine so far but since every single character has an own axis center point the tracer’s output spline (cubic interpolation) doesn’t look smooth because it does not connect every word but also every character in it. is there a way to tell mograph that only words, not characters should have center points? or is there a workaround?

    thanks for any help.

It’s possible with Xpresso, but a bit of a pain depending on how many words you have in your text. Here’s an example:

    hi adam,

thanks a lot for your help. i didn’t even think of solving this issue using xpresso. it works quite good. but i think that in my special case it will make less work to create a text object for every single word and to put them into a fracture object to make them accessible to mograph. but anyway, i learned a lot figuring out how you did that.
