Targa Export for FCP
I’m having a strange problem and was wondering if anybody else had encountered this? We recently up graded our equipment to a new computer Mac OSX 10.5.2 on a Quad core intel machine. I am working with After Effects CS3, and FCP 6. Here is the strangeness…When I use the “render que” to export art from AFX as a TARGA, FCP is giving me an error message that the file types are unrecognized. But if I use the simple >File>Export>TGA from AFX these work fine! I do a furniture store and they supply art that is PSD’s and I use AFX to convert (quickly) to TGA’s for FCP, so I usually have large batches of files to convert and I have found that AFX is much quicker than using PSD. But it’s not quicker if the files don’t work of if I have to export them individually. Please help me define a preset that will work….Thanks
