  Issue moving/altering object after importing VectorWorks Export

  Hi there,

  I have just exported my model from VW using the exchange plugin (have been doing this for a while without issues) – however this time – when I select an object and try to move/scale/rotate or even rotate my view – the axis handles go from arrows to globes (see attached image) .

  Has anybody else encountered this?

  The globes are a viewport option for rotation mode, in place of the rotation bands. Perhaps you changed it by accident? Viewport>Edit>Configure>Display>Rotation Bands.

  But they shouldn’t be there unless you’re using the rotation tool, so it could be a corrupted file…?

  I haven’t changed anything – possibly just a corrupt file as you mention. The globes only appear if I try to move the object after selecting it. If I release my mouse – the axis bands return to normal.
