  About to purchase – suggestions

  I am looking to purchase the Studio Bundle this afternoon or tomorrow sometime and have just a few really fast questions that I’m sure you could answer.

  There are some outside vendors that are selling the bundle for 2-300 less than the maxon site.

  Is that a good idea?

  Cineversity is 179 as opposed to 299. Am I getting the same thing? Should I be cautious of something here?

  Also, I think getting cineversity is a good idea on my end (I’m skilled at AE and learn things fast, but don’t have much time to be wasting playing trial and error). Anyone suggest or discourage me from buying?

  Does the boxed copy for intel mac come with some basic training lessons/manuals (pring/electronic)?

  Just make sure it’s an authorized dealer (you can call Maxon and ask). If so, go for the cheaper price. It’s not unusual for resellers to sell for less than the software company. If the company undersold them they wouldn’t get many resellers!
