    Hi,

I have come to C4D from 3Ds Max. I’m still learning C4D, and I love it.

There is something I can’t find ..in 3Ds max I used to use the align tool all the time, either align to world, align to another object, align to another object’s maximum or minimum.. you could choose you axis’ too.

Is there an equivalent in C4D? for example, if I have two cylinders, one short and fat and one long and thin. I want the thin one to line exactly in line with the fat one, inside it. Now I could put everything at 0,0,0 and align it that way, but I have spent ages placing my cyclinder in the scene.. whats the procedure?

    thanks

The mis-named “Center” function will also do what you want(Functions>Center).
