  growing hair

  hello guys, i would like to know how can i make the hair grows with increasing area. say, the hair starts to grow from the top of the head with a small area, then keep increasing the area to the whole body, is it possible? or it should be a particle effect cos the growing of hair is delayed while the area is enlarging.

  Hair is highly configurable and there’s probably more than one way. Here’s a simple test using an animated gradient in the Hair materials Length channel.

  In this case you don’t need the gradient; just animate the length parameter from 0% to 100%.

  hello Adam, sorry i don’t understand what you mean, i think the map help me to increase the area for the growing hair, but if i just animate the length, all the hair will grow at the same time, am i right? i am new to C4D, so i wish you guys can help me out, thanks
