I can’t quite figure out if I’ve got a problem with me or C4D(10.5), but I’m hoping it’s the former.

Somehow when I move along the timeline, the screen images no longer update.I can see curves in my timeline with a changing value, and a blue-white line in my preview window, but when I scrub the timeline, or hit play, I don’t get any changes on screen, nor do I see any value change in my Coordinates window for the keyed object (a null/group with an extruded logo inside it). I can even move it around, add keyframes, and have everything look normal–except that the object never updates automatically via the timeline. It’s like they’ve just de-coupled themselves or something.

Is this a problem, or did I just flip the wrong switch somewhere?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Relevant?: I have two cameras in the scene, but both seem to behave this way.

    Update:
This isn’t really a solution, but I got out of my timeline brain-freeze by holding down SHIFT and moving the timeline to another spot (doing so is supposed to move the timeline without updating the editor window). After doing this once, everything worked as expected again, with the viewports updating as I moved around on the timeline. It was as if I had SHIFT-locked it into the SHIFT-ON position.

I haven’t yet been able to replicate the effect. If this is a common feature that I’m just being bone-headed about, please reply and let me know what the keystrokes are. Thanks.
