  metaball logo

  Hi,
  I have an existing logo (looks like a splat shape) that i need to form from a ball.
  I found an almost identical post “Modeling a SPLAT” from 2004 in which Adam Trachtenberg mentions a tutorial.
  Unfortunately the link is broken.

  don’t know where the tutorial you mentioned is so I’d need more info
  – what kind of ‘splat’, can you post a picture?
  – flat end result or with some dimension?

  Off the top it might be a morph or maybe a PLA animate but if it’s all one piece with enough subdivision maybe you could use a spherify deformer

  in the end i have made it by tweaking a hypernurb’d extruded spline.
  then, as you said used the spherify deformer.
