Cinema 4D – Clothing/Polygon tool
I’m following this tutorial: https://tutorials20.com/3d/22/
But in the very first step it says to go to structure>create polygon, and (after following the previous descriptions exactly) the menu is all greyed out. What should I do?
You guessed it, I’m a noob 😛 I thought I’d ask you guys because this writer doesn’t seem to answer his readers.

I can’t get it to grey out no matter what mode I’m in… what version are you working with?

I’m working in version R10. On the comments section of that tutorial, it seemed like one other person had the same problem as I did.
I do exactly as it says, starting in a fresh project. I haven’t changed any of the settings after installing it and everything else seems to work fine!

what happens if you open a new window and without importing anything go straight to Structure/Create Polygon? Still grayed out?
