  Working with DOF

  What is the best approach to a true dof, progressive front and rear. It just doesn’t seem to be a progessive focus on objects that are placed on a z axis, just out of focus past a certain point.

  After I measure the distance from camera to object, is there a way to follow focus, or do a need to keyframe the distance settings on the camera.
