Hi, I’m trying to create a slot machine effect.
It’s really simple, I created a cylinder (80m radius, 62m height) and splitted the external faces; then I created a tiff 522×62 with the numbers from 0 to 9. I want this map to be applicated like a sticker on the rounded part of the cylinder, so I set “projection” to flat, “side” to front and tried to offset the map but it doesn’t work fine.
The map is only on the front half of the cylinder (if I rotate to animate, the other side is blank), so I tried to set “side” to both but the numbers are repeated on the other side and flipped..
    Where is my fault?

use cylindrical mapping. You likely have to Use the Texture Tool to line it up

yo! you’re right, I finally discovered the problem! I wasn’t understanding the direction of the arrows in the cylindrical map grid.. the picture had to be rotated in photoshop so now the mapping matches the grid.
    Thanks for helping!
