    Ahoi – I’m new to C4D, and am having some trouble getting the sound effector to do anything. I’ve viewed the tutorials on this site and am still having trouble. I create a primitive, adjust my anchor point, add the sound effector, and nothing happens. I’m sure I’m missing a step here, I’m just not sure what it is –

    Two things:

    1) when used with objects, vs. clones, effectors must have their deformer modes changed from the default “none” to one of the other options (probably object in this case);

    2) generally in Cinema, deformers have to be either the child of the object being deformed or they have to be siblings with the object(s) under a null or another object.
