  Cloth Dynamics Help (Screenshot)

  Hi All

  I’m trying to drop an object into a cloth and have the object come to a rest.

  I’m using both the Clothilde and Dynamics setups for this…

  i’ve included a screeenshot of what is actually happening…

  when the object drops into the cloth, it collides then drops even further, stretching the plane.

  i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong…

  any help is appreciated.

  It seems you’re trying to combine the Dynamics module with Clothilde, which is a no no as they’re separate systems. You have to use either one or the other. In this case you’ll want to use just Dynamics because there’s a bug in Clothilde that’s preventing collision with animated objects.

  (depending on the version… the bug is new to 10.5)
