  monitor/interface failed to refresh

  I installed Cinema 4D R10 in windows xp professional (64bit). I tried different tutorials in PDF format. When I switched from Acrobat reader to cinema 4D, some portions of the document from acrobat is left on the screen or interface of cinema 4d. It seems that it is not being refreshed. When the active window is cinema 4D, and I click on other window to make it active (notepad, windows media, etc.), some portion of the application window is left on the interface of cinema 4D. This only happens in cinema 4D.

  Hewlett-Packard
  hp workstation xw8200
  Intel(R) Xeon (TM) CPU 3.6GHz
  2.0 GB of RAM
  Win XP pro x64 Edition

  Actually that’s the fault of Acrobat (or other Adobe apps for that matter) the interface libraries are written in such a manner that they cause this artifacting. Happens also with Photoshop, After Effects, Encore, premiere and pretty much all the rest.

  even when no adobe products is open, still it happens…

  Mmh, okay, than perhaps it’s something more serious. Have you tried changing your graphics card settings?
