After many sleepless nights, I have created and rigged a character, and done the animation and everything’s hunky dory – until . . .

I then copy it onto a scene file and . . . I can’t move it, scale it or anything without jiggering up the whole thing.

The character has three parts – the head, middle and tail, and only the tail is animated so I can swap the heads as needed. The character and rig are child objects of a null object I am using as a holder – the tail/head/middle are in a holders of their own – this normally preserves the animation data, but not in this case.

So, am I missing something very obvious, have I riggged the character wrongly or what?
