Hello, I recently got a job that has required me to convert to C4d 9 from 3D Max. I am working on a model that has a complex surface (A gavel head) and am having problems getting my wood texture to wrap on the model correctly.

My question is- Does Cinema 4D offer a feature similar to 3DMax’s Unwrap UVW feature? I would like to unwrap the mesh and lay out the texture directly.

    Thanks in advance,

    Russ

r9 only had rudimentary UV tools, and unfortunately no unwrapping. You would need BodyPaint or else you’ll have to do it in another application.

While it’s not helpful to you, the good news is that with r10, BodyPaint is a part of the core application.
