Hi I am fairly new to 4D cinema and I need some help with a problem that is occurring when I try to save out my project.
Through the process of elimination I have narrow it down to the plugin Splinemotion that I am using in conjunction with a COFFEE tag attached. I have using this to rig up a cable for animation. To give you a bit of an idea of what it is like I used a great tutorial for creative cow which can be found at https://forums.creativecow.net/cgi-bin/page_wrapper.cgi?forumid=19&page=https://www.creativecow.net/articles/simpson_mark/firehose_new/index.html
The problem is that I can save the scene with one splinemotion object but when there is two in the scene it comes up with a message saying there’s NOT ENOUGH MEMORY.
Now I no for sure I have enough memory but I would like to get some one else to test out for me. I would be very very very thankful if some one was to try it. Also if any one would be able to suggest the best way to rig up a cable for animation.
    Thank in advance

Sounds to me like this is a legacy plugin that may not be 100% compliant with 4D anymore (I think it is messing up the naming relation since it can’t handle multiple identical names and does not refer to C4D’s internal numeric IDs for objects). Is there any particular reason you are using it? Since you are saying you are using COFFE anyways, can’t you just re-create the functionality there?
