September 19, 2006 at 11:56 pmYou can make the video a background in Cinema 4D….
then take into after effects and refine the position…

September 20, 2006 at 3:07 amProbably the best way is to load it into the color channel of a material and place the material on the Background Object. You are better off using a frame sequence rather than a .mov or .avi, as editor performance is *much* better. After you load the first frame (or movie file), click on the file name/button in the color channel and then click on the animation tab. There you can set the start/end/framerate and hit “calculate”.

September 20, 2006 at 9:29 pmwhat is the worklow people use to match a c4d element realistically into a video plate so that it has realistic focal length and rotation of the object. im imagining putting the vid bg on a surface and if i move the camera around, it will move also. ideally i would like the bg plate locked to be full frame in the bg of whats in my 3d c4d world.
does this make any sense
