  9.6 installer fails

  Anybody have this problem, and a cure for it?

  Downloaded the Updater C4D 9.6 from Maxon (twice in fact) and unzipped it succesfully to get the blue VISE diamond installer icon. Double clicking this launches ScriptEditor which hangs and does nothing. A force quit is needed. Tried Open With… and selecting Installer, but that option is grayed out. Tried to open with DiscUtility but that yeilded nothing.

  Has anyone successfully ran the 9.6 updater (I’m guessing YES onthat one), if so how? Where did you get the install? The same as me? Any clues to why this is failing? P***ing me off!
