Help plan this shot?
Okay, doing a spot for a computer networking company.
concept: Business woman working on computer. Computer freezes up. She calls networking company. The Tech guys then come through the telephone wires and pop out the phone. They then proceed to hoo into the computer through the various ports. They fix the computer from the inside out.
I think the hardest part will be getting the guys to come out of the phone.
I plan on making circular card board cut outs that the actors will pop up through in the studio. I think motion tracking the phone will be pretty easy being that I can just use the speaker holes? I don’t have any 3rd party trackers. Just AE’s built in one.
Then I’ll key out the actors and parent them to the tracking information.
I may duplicate the layers and make shadows out of each actor to help sell the shot.
Sounds pretty easy. Can you think of anything I’m missing? Anything I can add to make the shot cooler/more realistic?
Also, a lot of the scenes will take place inside the computer. So, I’ll have to create a lot of mother boards, fans, and computer looking stuff. I would like the inside to have a lot of blinking lights and moving parts. Any suggestion or tips on this?
I’m open to any suggestions.
Thanks.
