  • Simulating depth (3D) in a 2D environment

I have been given the wonderful? task of creating a “3D” animation in front of a 2D background (photograph).

An object animated along a spline is required to blend logically with the BG in terms of size and speed.

I have used object scale and F-curves for this ….very fiddly.

I have seen within the F-curves that mathematical equations can be used to determine the nature of the F-curve.

When the dialog box is opened there is already and equation in place.

What are the equations that can be used her to define the size and speed of an object relative to the viewer.???

    My head hurts already

    Thanks

    Greg
