I have both G4 laptop & G5 desktop, OSX Pather 10.3.9, Cinema4d 9.521, Quicktime 7.0.3 this problem is on both machines.
When loading quicktime into materials colour channel and calculating the footage, then applying material to object, it fails to DISPLAY the footage on the object past the first frame in timeline.
As I move down the timeline it still only sees the first frame of the footage in the camera viewport (also in any other viewport) however, if i was to render anywhere down the timeline i would then see the correct frame of footage in the render.
it appears for some reason not to be updating the quicktime frames during time line scrub.

I’ve tried changing display and openGL settings, but no luck.

Is this a “Open GL” or a Mac version of the software problem, or is it me!!
    anyone please, thankyou!

Unfortunately that’s normal in C4D- it only updates in the renders. Hopefully it will be addressed in a future update. If you search the boards you’ll find some workarounds.

The best solution so far is RTE (RealTimeEditor) originaly done by AG over at C4D-Treff.
I’ve translated the instructions and added more channels in it.

    To be found at :
    https://homepage.mac.com/tcastudios/TCA%20CINEMA.html
    Item028.

Includes ReadMe’s plus instructions in the CoffeeTag.

    Cheers
