    Hi,
I’m new to Clothide, and I’m making a simple banner. I want to adjust some of the points on my banner, now that I’ve applied a cloth tag. Every time I adjust the points, and then play the animation the points jump back to their original position. What do I need to do to adjust my points after I’ve set parameters in the cloth tag. BTW, I’m fixing some of the points to a rod.

How is the cloth simulation setup? Did you cache the simulation? If so empty the cached solution. I would also try after you edit the points on the banner hit the set initial state button and your point edits should be retained.

    Best of luck,

    Hey,
    Thanks…
I tried to empty the cached solution first, that didn’t help,
then I tried to set the initial state, and that didn’t help either?
If I remove the tag, and re apply the cloth tag, it holds the changed points.
I’m just hoping I don’t have to re apply the tag every time I want to tweak some Points?

    Hi,
only fixed points can be adjusted, all other points are only controlled by the cloth engine.
Once cached you can use the cache tool to make changes to the stored solution.

    Thanks Bjorn that helps….
I don’t see any mention of the cache tool in the manual. Can you direct me to this possible.

Check the 9.5 addendum, it has been heavily redesigned with 9.5. It’s available from the MOCCA menu
