OK, I’ve got this logo that is composed of extruded Illustrator outlines. I want to bend the logo so that the entire face is rounded, as if it followed the surface of a cylinder. I can’t seem to find any technique that doesn’t make the face of the logo get all kinds of polygon errors. I’ve tried the wrap deformer on the splines as well as the whole object; I’ve even tried path deformer, and I get the same errors. Changing the type of spline or the resolution of the object doesn’t help. Does anyone have a technique that will avoid these polygon artifacts?

    Thanks!

About the only thing you can do is check the “regular grid” option in the extrudeNURBS caps, and set the division quite small. You might still get a few artifacts, but it should be manageable.
