  newbie question

  Hi…

  Every time I add any kind of object it defaults to a position of 2, -8, -2, rather than 0, 0, 0. I’ve looked for a way to change this and just can’t find one. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

  Hi,

  are you sure you have deactivated the “Create new objects in view center” option in the Preferences->Document?

  Otherwise I cannot think of anything else affecting this.
