i know this is simple but im lost??
im trying to model a happy face like guy, now the problem is im trying to make the eyes by pushing the shape into the head. the reason im doing it that way is because i want black holes for eyes then i was going to put in some tiny light pointing toward the camera. now i need the eyes to be shaped the way i draw eyes but its driving me crazy because i dont know how to make the shape and i dont know how to push that shape inward to make them look like black holes.
one more thing i wanted to do is make the mouth open and bite down but u guessed it… i dont know what the heck im doing.

Good heavens, no!
I’ve just found it helpful for beginners to go to c4dcafe and do their tutorials. I find that most of the questions on here are more advanced. I base this last statement on the fact that many of the things discussed on here are over my head. YMMV.
It’s a big internet and I’m glad there are several places to learn about C4d.

Yeah, I haven’t answered this because it’s really too broad–like, “how do I use this program”? You need to read the manual or at minimum follow some of the basic tutorials here, at Maxon’s site, or wherever you can find what you need.

Another suggestion is this book:
CINEMA 4D : The Artist’s Project Sourcebook (Digital Media Academy Series) by Anne Powers.It’s really helped me.
