okay, this is just a little annoyance that I’d like to try and fix.

Often when I’m working deep into a project with lots of 3D layers and an AE camera, I’ll add a new layer to the comp. When I hit the 3D switch, it usually disappears being that the 3d camera is pointed way over in another direction and the new 3D layer has been automatically positioned at the beginning of the comp.

    I hope that makes sense.

In the past, I’ve usually duplicated a layer that was currently in view and then just ALT+Drag into my comp and replaced that layer. That way, it’s at least still in my window.

Is this the best way to do this? Anyone else have any other method? Is there some kind of “Bring layer into window” command?

    Just curious.

    Thanks!
