  • Having trouble w/ Sequencing layers

    hi!

(Yes, I have searched this question – didn’t get the right answer though).

Say that I have about 40 layers, that differs in length, is it possible to sequence them in a reliable way? I find the Sequence Layers function in Keyframe Assistant not so usable. The first five layers is ok, then it get’s totally screwed up.
Is it a good way to do this either by expression or by plugin. Or am I wrong about the Sequence Layers function?

    How are you guys doing?

    Best,
    Martin

i’ve never had any issues with sequence layers.
Normally it will sequence them in the order that you select them, (ie, top to bottom, bottom to top).
How exactly is it screwing up?

    hi!

    thanks for you replay.

Well, let me try to put it this way:

    First off:
I’m having trouble when the layers differs in time. It seems so at least. Is the function dependent on that all layers having the same lenght?

    Then:
How should I really look at the duration time? Is it dependent on how the comp is? If I have a comp that is 20s and I want every layer to appear after 1s then the duration should be 19? right?
