  • how should I sell my footage?

Hi everyone. I’m a small business owner and recently with some media exposure, a company has requested to purchase footage of my business processes for their documentary.

This documentary is to be broadcasted in germany and possibly in other european countries. I’m not sure how I should sell my footage because:

    1) my footage is 50+minutes long, and raw, with minimal editing.
    2) my footage is only of reasonable broadcast quality.
    3) my primary concern is getting more publicity for my company (getting some additional revenue for my small company will definitely help as well)

I was thinking of charging a one-off low flat fee for acquiring my footage and for broadcast in germany (to get publicity), and additional per minute rates for international broadcast?

Does anyone have a sample footage sale contract I can refer to?

    Thanks!

    There are so many variations.
Do you have any desire to reuse the footage for your own marketing for example?
Perhaps limit them to use in the documentary and promotion thereof and make the use non exclusive (or exclusive for a finite time) so you can use, sell, lease at a later date.
