  3d text in a 3d world

  I have made a 3d world in AE using clips, solids, etc, with the camera moving in and around and throughout this world. I’m using a very big solid as the floor. I now want to add some 3d text that is sitting on the floor that the camera can move around too. I have tried using Invigorator for the text with the words made in Illustrator but I can’t make it work right with the comp camera and I’ve tried using ULead Cool 3d for the text but its just so hard trying to get the ULead camera to match the movements in AE. So, does anyone have a way to do this? I use AE 5.5

  Here is a post to an earlier link, it uses an expression to offset many AE 3D test layer by a small amount. AE text layers have no depth so the illusion breaks down if you linger end-on to the text, but having a contrasting Stroke on the Text and Bevel Alpha on the outside text layers also helps sell it.   There is a tutorial for ProAnimator that uses the ProAnimator animation to control layers. I’m not sure if it can be adapted to the camera controls or not.

  I’m also not positive, but I think you could use ProAnimator to get real 3D text into your comp.
