  Question about text wipes

  Hey all,

  Recently started working on my demo reel (3d guy here) so I really knew very little about AE beyond setting opacity keys. Your tuts have been a fantastic resource, so thanks first and foremost.

  Now, I was trying to do the basic text wipe thing for titles and text transitions within my reel and was following the AE podcast. I noticed that when I created a mask for some text, no bounding box appears around my text layer. Additionally, hitting ctrl+T appears to make it transformable, but again no box so it’s very difficult to carry out transformations with any sort of precision. Does anyone know what’s going on here? I’m using AE CS3 for this work. Thanks.
