    Hi,

I’m having trouble with the depth of my 3D layers. My foreground image is an Illustrator file, and every 3D layer I bring on to the stage appear in front of it, regardless of the z depth of these new layers.

I don’t know if this is because the foreground layer is an Illustrator file, but I can’t find the fix for this.

    Thanks!

Is the foreground image a 3D layer? If not, you’ll have to place the layers below the Illustrator file. If it IS a 3D layer, make sure its Z-depth is closer than the other layers…

I don’t know if this is because the foreground layer is an Illustrator file

This should have no effect on it at all…

    hope this helps,

    Thanks guys!

There were no 2D layers in between, but re-arranging the layers so that the foreground layer was on top worked. Duh:)
