i’m trying to composite a dynamic simulation.
i got a 3D dynamic simulation of a grid of squares exploding, e.g., a multi-screen video wall is fragmented into several pieces.

now i reversed this simulation, so that the fragmented pieces come into one piece of screen. this is easily done in AE. however, i can’t seem to match that with my background layer which has a camera movement. if i reverse the background, it of course matches, but i need my background to be as it is.

what would be the best solution for this? is there a solution?

    i’d appreciate your help.

i figured it out, but not sure if that’s the best way.
i couldn’t find a way to do this in AE. i ended up “time reverse” in maya which was pretty simple.
let me know if you anyone know how to do this in post.
