    hey all

I am trying to get a masking effect to work where by something rotates from out of a mask into view. I have done similar things with the pan behind tool but just changing the position and not rotation.

Im sure its something stupid that im not doing right, i kinda had it by KFing the mask but i couldnt get the mask to stay in exactly the same place.

    Please help 🙂

You are trying to rotate a mask? If so, select it make a rotation keyframe. Move forward in time and hit cntl+t with the mask selected (not the layer) to open the free transform bounding box. Use the pan behind tool to move the anchor to where you want it, then rotate the mask’s bounding box. Hit enter to confirm the transformation.
